Eva Mendes was born March 5, 1974 in Miami, Florida to Cuban parents. While she was young she has never thought she'll be an actress. She began studying marketing in California State University, Northridge, but she dropped it out, because she decided to become an actress. Mendes began her career playing in music video clips such as Will Smith - "Miami", Pet Shop Boys - Se a vida é (That's the way life is) and Aerosmith - "Hole in My Soul". Soon she earned her first bigger movie role with the role of Sara Harris in the film Training Day (2001). Then she earned roles in many popular films such as 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) playing Monica Fuentes, Hitch (2005) playing Sara Melas, Ghost Rider (2006) playing Roxanne Simpson, The Women (2008) playing Crystal Allen, The Other Guys (2010) playing Sheila Gamble, etc.
